Worcester Model Boat Club are extremely fortunate to have gained sole access to a number of outstanding sailing venues across the region.  Securing venues and ensuring WMBC members have the BEST facilities possible is vital to Worcester Model Boat Club.  Our team working tirelessly to secure and maintain these venues, whilst reinforcing our relationships with third parties.  This ethos is paramount to our continued use of these facilities and the continued success and growth of Worcester Model Boat Club.  

As part of our agreements with our partner venues we have had to set guidelines to meet both health and safety and insurance criteria, therefore it is vital all club members follow the rules whilst using these facilities:

Worcester Model Boat Club have multiple venues available to Worcester Model Boat Club members, these are in the majority for the SOLE use of Worcester Model Boat Club members.  As a WMBC member you always have somewhere to sail.

Cob House Country Park 

The home of Worcester Model Boat Club is Cob House Country Park, WR6 6YE.  Here we have our own superb pond overlooking the outstanding Mayfly cafe, all set in the stunning Cob House Country Park.  In the heart of the gorgeous Worcestershire Countryside.   We have all the facilities of a cafe / restaurant offers, so toilets, refreshments, proper parking etc.  We also have the luxury in the summer months of being able to park immediately poolside.  So we meet for breakfast in the cafe and then set sail. Could ask for nothing more. 

Our access is unrivaled, 363 days a year! and we can set sail anytime the venue is open. 

Monday:  8am–5pm

Tuesday: 8am–5pm

Wednesday: 8am–5pm

Thursday: 8am–5pm

Friday: 8am–5pm

Saturday: 7:30am–5pm

Sunday: 7:30am–5pm

Conditions are two adult members MUST be present to set sail and continue to sail.  All health and safety protocols must be followed.  Safety equipment MUST be used.  Life jacket to be worn if the Dinghy (rescue launch) is required.  Please make yourself aware of the full health and safety policy prior to sailing, by sailing you are agreeing to these terms. 

At Cob House we have a bespoke launching facility,  rescue equipment, safety equipment and a full size rescue launch (dinghy) all available to WMBC members!

Arrow Valley Redditch - We are currently establishing rules and protocols with the third party, please refrain from sailing here individually until these are established.
