Warwick Setup Update
Best laid plans and all that, well ours worked a treat!
Have to confess the build up to Warwick has been a challenge but today seeing the final results made all the hours and hours so very worth it. Team WMBC arrived, and arrived in style!
Now everything is there, and all you boat owners wondering, yes all in one piece! no issues at all.
Well done event team for a safe trip (if a little damp). Just to let everyone know, from the outset we had a 10ft x 8ft stand space allocated to us. Me in my ultimate wisdom on the run up to the event asked how WMBC went about getting a larger allocation in 2019 (Once we had proved ourselves). Well we didn't have to wait until 2019!!!!
Very last min I had communication offering us a 20ft x 8ft allocation for 2018, this being after all the transport was planned and in reality most of the boats with the event team. No way were we refusing a larger space so we grabbed the opportunity with both hands, and the pictures below are the results of our labours.
Huge debt of thanks to the team who spent the whole day there today setting up and getting the stand looking as it does, hopefully you agree it looks good. So thanks here to Barrie Rider, Ash Duggan, Andy Prosser, Dave Carpenter and yours truly for making the whole task so easy.
Thanks to the lads and lasses that delivered their boats today and sorted them all out, you all made things so much easier.
I've added pictures of the general area so you can see how we stand. So when you arrive over the weekend you may well spot our stand, if you dont you need to go to Specsavers!
