Sunday Smiles

The sun was shining, not a cloud in the sky, sheer bliss in the stunning Worcestershire Countryside at Cob House on Sunday.

The WMBC team were out in force, still relishing the HUGE success of the Open day earlier in the month. Focus now very much now on the biggest event in the 2019 WMBC calendar our attendance at the hugely prestigious Chateau Impney Hill Climb event this coming weekend (13th and 14th July).

Members have been busy preparing for the event, and the event team extremely busy getting everything organised. Everything is looking really positive, we had an amazing response from our members, you guys and gals amaze me yet again! We also have had so much support from the team at Chateau Impney, thanks guys!. This is historic for WMBC and testament to our continual success and growth.

Focusing on Sunday, we had a busy morning, getting organised for Chateau, testing a few ideas for chateau, launching even more new boats, destined for Chateau, welcomed another two new members! just a typical Sunday at WMBC!

Andy had finished his SHG pusher tug, looking resplendent, perfect launch and after a few tweaks with the ballast a great result, in fact it was soon needed for its first rescue 'Shmokin Phil' had decided that his torpedo boat needed a working smoke screen, only problem was you couldn't actually see the boat! Mike an Steve kept the waves moving with some fast runs with their respective fast electrics. In all a great days sailing.

We now look forward to Chateau! We hope to broadcast live to the internet over the course of the event, vlogs, and blogs, twitter, facebook, instagram all buzzing!

We cannot over emphasize what a huge honor and privileged it is to of been asked to attend this elite Worcestershire Event! The team at Chateau wanted the best, they got the best now lets be the BEST!

Good luck to everyone taking part! The committee and event team thank everyone for their support, commitment and enthusiasm. Everything points to one amazing weekend, the best of the best coming out to play. We won't spill how many boats we booked in to attend, but its a lot.
