Covid 19 - Worcester Model Boat Club Official Statement

All Club meetings and events suspended with immediate effect until further notice

Due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak the Club Committee has agreed unanimously to suspend all Worcester Model Boat Club events and meetings until further notice. We have not made this decision lightly, but as you will be aware the advice now is to avoid all gatherings. We all as businesses, employers, clubs and individuals have a collective responsibility to do the right thing.

To be clear that means no club meetings or events at ALL WMBC sailing Venues until further notice!

We have to follow the governments guidelines and advice on social distancing., travel etc. The health and well-being of all our members, families and friends is our first and most important priority.

We cannot give you a date when our meetings might resume again, nobody knows to be honest.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and follow the guidelines/recommendations. We will keep in contact keep you updated etc.

Please keep in contact, use social media etc. We hope in the very near future to have a chat room online up and running so we can at least get together all be it virtually.
