Busy day at the office!
Hopefully Spring has finally sprung! The sunshine brought out team WMBC in great numbers! Plenty of our new members relishing the spring sunshine and getting in some decent boating. We again welcome even more new members to team WMBC, this week Peter joined us with his stunning meter class yacht that he built from scrap!!!! it is absolutely stunning and a credit to Peter.
We welcome Peter and also Micheal to team WMBC and hope they enjoy their time with us. Welcome to all our new members!
Sunday the pond was pretty busy! Another two IOM yacht's now joining the growing WMBC fleet, both being helmed very well, conditions were ideal for some great yachting.
Andy had his lovely fishing boat out, despite loosing a prop he soon found it and refitted!
Steve was running his Huntsman 31, Steve had requested a video and hopefully this is now available on the WMBC youtube channel.
Mike had his brushless Sea Queen out and did it ever look superb at speed. Team Johnson were as always enjoying the boating, Ron had a few issues, but after a successful rescue by Alex's SHG tug all was well. The boat ran lovely until the issue, very soon be back afloat.
We had quite a following from joe public, the crowds out enjoying all Cob House Country Park has to offer, we are very proud to be part of the Cob House team!
Just a note to say huge vote of thanks to Shaun who keeps our interweb presence maintained, down to his dedication we crossed another milestone last week, thanks for all your efforts Shaun. Plenty of pictures added to the WMBC gallery on the site, so take a look.
We have today received our formal invitation to the 2019 International Model Boat Show, Which I have accepted, this was the written invitation, we had already been invited at the end of the 2018 event. Warwick was a huge success for the club, we learnt a lot, and came home with 4th prize overall! Can't wait for 2019!
